Lermoos & Lake Garda Stopovers
We drove from Rodstock through Munich heading to to this little village, Lermoos, in Austria side the same day. I have to say that we did expect that Lermoos would be just a simple, no-frill kind of stop over. A place that when you leave off behind, you wouldn’t be able to recall anything about it. But the fact is that, until now, I still remember that misty morning when we walked along their tiny road and make a stop for morning coffee by the village’s fountain. And just breath! I think I simply fell in love with the Alps’ famous charm.
The second stopover in Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. It was put to the itinerary because Pekka would like to show me where he used to work before he was relocated to Thailand. Apart from its reputation as an unbeatable scenic lake side holiday that also resides several world famous celebrity estates and mansions. For me, this place is even more special when we stroll down the town and get to know where he used to stay, have dinner and enjoy Italian gelato. Practical getting to know where he used to spend a small part of his life before knowing me. That’s really a perfect way to introduce Lake Garda to me.
