Bourges Photo Diary

Bourges Photo Diary

From Geneva to Blois it would take approximately 5 hours to drive. And that’s not so typical us to be that aggressive for the first holiday day. To spend a night somewhere in between must be an awesome idea, to cut us some driving slack and to have chance to explore another french city that is out of those Loire’s premier destinations. Bourges came to our perspective. During this pit stop, we stayed in a cozy L’Hôtel Panette in an 18th century building in the centre of Bourges. Located just steps away from Cathédrale Saint-Etienne which is second to none to Notre Dame de Paris. The whole city is filled with Bourges’ characteristic houses and many special half timber wall ones. If you are an observing architecture lover, Rue Bourbonnoux and Rue Coursalon are particularly worth visiting.
